The Post-baccalaureate Certificate in Business Administration is designed for professionals with little or no prior business coursework who seek an opportunity for advanced study in core business function areas. The certificate provides students the ability to advance their careers while receiving recognition for academic accomplishment in the form of a graduate certificate. By completing the curriculum for the certificate, students will have satisfied the foundation course requirements in the M.B.A. and other master’s programs in business.
In order to be eligible for receiving the certificate, a student must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0. Twenty-one credit hours beyond the bachelor's degree is required for completion of this graduate certificate program. Up to twelve credit hours may be waived if the equivalent course work has been completed and a grade of " B" or better received.
500 and 600 level courses are offered in the evening either one evening per week from 7-9:40pm or twice a week from 5:30-6:45pm. All business courses are held in Snead Hall. The flexibility of our program allows student to enroll full-time or part-time per semester depending on their preference.
Students interested in later applying for admission into either the Master of Business Administration program or other master's programs must do so through a separate application process. Admission to the master's level programs is not guaranteed by successful completion of the graduate certificate program and students will be required to submit a GMAT score as part of the MBA application process.
