    • Modern Regulation and Marketing:  Staying Competitive in a Changing Environment

      Verizon Speaker Series

      Snead Hall, Room B1115

      November 4

      2:30 – 3:30

Verizon Communications, in collaboration with the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business Marketing Department, is pleased to present The Verizon Speaker Series.  This series brings experts and industry leaders to VCU to share their professional insights with Department of Marketing students, faculty, and the community.

Join us on November 4 from 2:30 - 3:30 for "Modern Regulation and Marketing:  How Do You Market Competitively in an Environment of Changing Regulation?"  Robert Woltz, President of Verizon Virginia, looks at the trend toward decreased regulation and what it means for marketing messages.  While a climate of relaxed regulation can enrich marketing, it also makes it more complicated.

The program begins with a reception in the lobby of Snead Hall at 2 p.m.  Mr. Woltz takes the stage at 2:30 in room 1115.  The event is free, but RSVP is requested.  RSVP at mktgdept@vcu.edu.
