The School of Business has a productive faculty, with faculty members at different stages of their careers generating a steady stream of scholarly publications and new PhDs. Up-to-date technology and other resources are available, and summer salary support is provided on a competitive basis to faculty members submitting research proposals. The School’s reputation is spreading, as faculty members travel more to present their research around the country and around the world. Overall research output, as measured by the number of peer-reviewed publications, has increased considerably in the last few years, and output of peer-reviewed publications per dollar of research funding is substantial.

Dr. Jeffrey A. Krug
Associate Professor of Strategic Management |
|
| Jeffrey Krug teaches strategic management and international business in the Ph.D., Executive MBA, MBA, and undergraduate programs at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is also an adjunct professor of international management at the University of Münster in Germany. |

| Dr. Krug has three new book series: International Business & Globalization, Multinational Enterprise Theory, and Mergers & Acquisitions, published by Sage Publication in London. His paper "Long-Term Top Management Team Effects in Mergers and Acquisitions" is forthcoming in the Journal of Business Strategy. |

Dr. Myung Park

| Dr. Park has just had a paper accepted for publication in the Journal of Accounting Research, one of the top accounting journals. The paper is "Positive and Negative Information Transfers from Management Forecasts" (with Y. Kim and M. Lacina). |

| Dr. Park joined VCU School of Business in the fall 2004 and teaches accounting at the graduate and undergraduate levels. He has published several research papers in leading accounting and finance academic journals, such as Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Accounting Horizons, Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, British Accounting Review, and Journal of Computer Information Systems. |
