Class of 2008 Beta Gamma Sigma Inductees

Ten Class of 2008 students were inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International, at the School of Business Awards Ceremony on May 2, 2008. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International. Inductees are: (Front row L-R) Maurion Edwards, Keith Jones, Cheri Spence, Nancy Tickle, Jasper Bodiford, (Back row L-R) Terry Nicholas, Tim Ellison, Michael Kidd Not pictured: John Skaritza, Vikas Bhatia.

In addition, 3 students were named Dean's Scholars for 2008: Cheri Spence, Nancy Tickle, and John Skaritza.

Class of 2007 Alum heads to Qatar
Catherine Turner, a 2007 alum, left for Qatar in January 2008 to take on a temporary CIO assignment for VCUQ (School of the Arts). In her words: "it will be challenging, but I am ready to be tested and to expand beyond my comfort zone."
