Blackboard: For each of the INFO16X courses, there is a Blackboard web site with course information, and copies of semester email broadcasts at the Course Email tab. It is recommended that students check their course site(s) frequently.

Exams: All exams are pass/fail at 80% pass level and are adminstered on-campus in Snead Hall. Lab space for exams is limited. There is a posted deadline each semester for 1) creating online accounts and 2) for first exam attempts with a retake option. Students who wait until the last opportunity to sign-up for exams risk not being able to take the exam. Schedule of exam dates are sent out via VCU email along with information on how to sign-up for exams online. The first exam opportunities are mid-semester.

Prior to the exam, students must have created an online account. The day of the exam, a photo ID is required for sign-in. Students who sign-up online ahead of time online are guaranteed a computer for the exam. Wait lists and walk-ins are only allowed to take an exam if there is space available. Students have 2 opportunities to pass an exam IF the first attempt was completed by the posted deadline and IF they score at least a 40 on that first attempt. No incompletes will be given.
