The major in Human Resource Management gives students a broad overview of the educational and application aspects of human resource management. Students in this program pursue an in-depth study of a variety of topical areas, including human resource management, employment law, compensation management, and international human resources management. Students are encouraged to broaden their knowledge base by taking electives in industrial psychology. After completing this program, students are prepared to enter the public and private sections in compensation, employee benefits, incentive awards programs, and human resources.
