The VCU School of Business will host its15th Annual International Business Forum on February 24, 2009. Made possible each year through the generosity of Universal Corporation, the International Business Forum is free and open to the public. Its purpose is to make students, faculty and the outside community more aware the global commerce and how important it is to events both at home and abroad.
Program Goals
- To expose students to concepts, ideas, methodologies, and tools that will enable them to function in a global business environment.
- To introduce students and faculty to decision makers who play a role in shaping both national and international policies towards business.
- To provide a vehicle by which VCU can create an environment for the exchange of up-to-date ideas with businesses interested in improving their ability to do business in other countries.
- To create an environment in which students will increase their interest in spending at least part of their working careers abroad.
