Undergraduate Diversity
The VCU School of Business has a more than 3,100 undergraduate business students. The tremendous diversity in our student body – in terms of ethnicity, life and work experience, and many other measures – means that students are exposed to a diversity of ideas, both in and out of the classroom.

Undegraduate Enrollment
Freshmen and sophomores take the Business Foundations program. At the end of the sophomore year, students must apply for acceptance into the Advanced Program and a major. They choose from a variety of majors and concentrations. Currently Business Administration is the most popular.

Residency
Of our more than 3,100undergraduates, 92% are Virginia residents. Of our 569 graduate students, 84% are Virginia residents.

Graduate Students
The MBA program enrolls just over 300 of our 569 graduate students. Graduate students also come to VCU for specialized certificate, masters and PhD programs in business.

Our graduate student population is quite diverse in terms of ethnicity and includes 90 international students.

Degree Level
The School of Business currently enrolls approximately 30 doctoral students, 500 masters level students, 30 graduate post-baccalaureate certificate students, 150 undergraduate post-baccalaureate certificate students, and 3,000 baccalaureate students.

Gender
The VCU School of Business enrolls 1,357 women at the undergraduate level and 213 at the graduate level. That’s 42% of the school.

Enrollment Status
Of our more than 3,100 undergraduate students 79% are full-time and 21% are part-time. Of our more than 500 graduate students, 41% are full-time and 59% are part-time. Many of our part-time students take coursework while employed in Richmond area corporations.
